How to change "MTEXT" to "TEXT"?

Howdy

 

Does EXPLODE not do what you want?

 

Explode can do!but some times one MTEXT explode later, will be come many TEXT

If you explode an MTEXT which is displaying as multiple lines, then you will wind up

with each line of text as a new TEXT object.

If that is not what you want, then stretch out your MTEXT with the grip, until it is

displayed on a single line, before you Explode it, then the resulting LONG Text object will be a single item.

 

If you WANT to have a MULTILINE text object, use MTEXT, that is what it is for.

I hate TEXT, always use MTEXT.

I dunno that EXPLODEing is all that intuitive. Why is it that exploding turns MTEXT into TEXT, but exploding a MLEADER doesn't turn it into a LEADER? ;)
