addesigns
I am running revit Arch 2013 @ work. I am having an issue with the floor not hiding the beams below it. The floors graphics are all correct. Ive checked the basics. I have been runing Revit for years and know where to look. If anyone has any ideas let me know please. I just want the floor to hide the beams it is sitting on.
RobDraw
Does your view range need to go beyond the floor level?
addesigns
Yes, work likes to see the steel below. If I have my view range at 0 for the same level, all is good. If i change it to -1 then it shows the steel, but it looks as though it is above the floor, not under it.
RobDraw
So, your problem is not that it is showing but that it is showing with solid lines when it should be hidden lines?
tzframpton
....but it looks as though it is above the floor, not under it.First guess would be that the View is a Reflected Ceiling Plan. Change it to Floor Plan and it'll reverse the orientation from "looking up" back to "looking down".
