I searched.. i swear..

Search:

Keyword(s): profile, view, end, elevation

I need to remove the END elevation from a profile view style. Civil 3D 2013.

I found this blog.. tried it.. it did not work..

I just do not want the very top [end] elevation in my profile views.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have use the method described in the link you have in the past. When you modify the profile style grid padding to .9999 and save it the existing profiles do not change. New profiles created with that style do suppress the top elevation. At least that has been my findings. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Phil

If it lands on a major elevation (100, 200, .etc) then it will display.

If you change the elevation of your profile view to 99.999, 199.99, etc., it will not display the top elevation.

Bill_Myron,

has it been your finding that you have to recreate the profiles or do you get existing ones to update?

thanks,

phil

No, you do not have to recreate the profile views, just simply adjust the top elevation in the Profile Properties.

I don't use the padding option. I always manually change my stations and elevations in the properties.
