warbirt
Is there a way to quickly transfer any incidences in which a text style has been used in a drawing with a new text style? I wish to do this so I can purge a text style from a drawing.
Dadgad
You can identify those instances of text by using the FILTER command, which will then provide you with the selection set. Once the selection set is chosen you can change the text style in PROPERTIES.

Thought of that.. and tried it.. It does work but means I have to go through and select everything in a drawing, every block has to be opened and checked, every dimension style, each multileader style etc.. I thought there must be a quicker way..
edwinprakoso
For dimension styles, you can try to use using CAD standards. It can 'fix' dimensions in blocks too. Unfortunately the default plugins are only available for dimensions, layers, text styles and line types.
RobDraw
In the past I have used a LISP routine to merge text styles. This should get you the desired result. Search here or over at TheSwamp.org, I'm sure you will find one.
