How to make Pressure Pipe not see through from plan view

I've created an entire plant worth of yard piping using the pressure network feature in Civil 3D 2013. There are a lot of pipes that overlap at different elevations. My goal is to not be able to see a pipe at a lower elevation through a pipe at a higher elevation. In other words I want to make the pipe appear solid without hatching it.

When I switch to the "Hidden" view, all of the pipe fittings become opaque but the pipe itself does not. Does anyone know a way to accomplish this? I've looked through the style settings and can't seem to come up with a solution. Thanks!
