Default Quick Profile using AutoCAD 2007

Drawing a quick profile using AutoCAD 2004 was quite easy but I'm now using AutoCAD 2007 Land Desktop and Civil 3D. I'm having trouble locating where I can create a quick profile. I've looked in the Help files and AutoCAD documentation and can not locate it anywhere. I have created a Terrain Model and an alignment but cannot go any further. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks,

I don't have LDT 2007 in front of me at the moment, but previously, you could draw a polyline, right click on it and choose View Quick Section.

Does this not work any longer?

Default Drawing profiles in AutoCAD 2007

That didn't work. In AutoCAD 2004 I would create a surface and within the surface I would create an alignment. Using the Civil menu I could create a profile by sampling the surface and create a profile along the selected alignment. In AutoCAD 2007 that is not the procedure any more.
    Thanks for the suggestion.

What you just described is not Quick Profile, but rather the normal method by which a profile is generated.

So exactly at what point does this procedure stop?
    Can you create the alignment?
    Can you sample the alignment?
    Can you draw the profile?
