abishop
So how do I view my model on 1 monitor and my drawing on another monitor using 1 session of Inventor? Thanks Andy B
JD Mather
Click the Restore Down button (double square between - and x) upper right corner of Inventor screen. Drag the the Inventor screen across both monitors, but do not Maximize. Now you can open multiple files (part and drawing) and tile them. It is kind of a hassle that you can't have the Inventor window maximized and then maximize each of the file windows - but that is the way it is. tzframpton
Windows Key+Left Arrow to dock the Inventor program to the left side of the left monitor. Then drag the right edge of the program all the way to the right side of the right monitor. What JD is saying is to "stretch" the program across both monitors. In order to do that you cannot be maximized in one viewport. Then adjust your Views inside of Inventor accordingly.

abishop
Yes, I could do that before. Is this how the other CAD systems work? I don't have my ribbons or the stuff on the side? Thanks

ThanksThis is common with ALL desktop applications. It's a Microsoft Windows function, not an individual application function.
