civil3duser Posted March 24, 2014 Share Posted March 24, 2014 Hi everyone, I'm just trying to work with hatching and gradients in AutoCAD (2013). How would I create a "border" gradient that fades away from the perimeter of an object. For example, I've attached a rectangle that fades from orange at the perimeter to white in the middle. I'd eventually like to do this with a polyline and 2-shades of blue for a body of water. Is this possible in AutoCAD? Thanks! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JGA Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 If you have Autodesk subscription, you could use Impression, which I think could do this for you. I do like the looks of Impression 3, and I am on a subscription for Civil3D, so I think that should work. I didn't even know I had that available Cheers !
