I add a dimension to my drawing, select it to stretch by grips and my UCS rotates to some odd angle. I am no longer able to stretch the dimension! Any help is greatly appritiated. Dadgad Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Welcome to CADTutor. Might you have ISOMETRIC SNAPS enabled? Or Isometric Snaps and Ortho? I am unable to duplicate your problem, but those sound like they might play a part. Is your UCSFOLLOW set to 1, maybe? ahebert Posted September 11, 2014 Author Share Posted September 11, 2014 I am getting the "1 was not parallel to the UCS" Error Message... Our department over the past three years have used three different "bolt on" programs. East Coast CAD, QuickPen Pipe Designer 3D, and currently Fabrication CAD MEP. I have checked the UCSFOLLOW and it is set to 0. Since originally posting this issue, I have only had it come up twice. Still not sure what to do to fix it on other machines in my department. This message means the current UCS and the UCS used when placing thedimension are different.
