Hello again. I am still having trouble coping hatch patterns to LT. I've been told how to do it a few ways but to no avail. Here is the pattern I'm trying to insert:

*plywood,Plywood

0, 0,0, 0,.1, 1

45, 0,0, .0707106781,-.0707106781, .1414213562,-.1414213562

315, 0,0, .0707106781,.0707106781, .1414213562,-.1414213562

Please, any help would be appreciated. I do shop drawings for a few companies and would like to put in a wood grain hatch to a few pieces. Thank you.

Create a file, on your Desktop, called PLYWD.pat and put the hatch pattern definition in the file. Save it. Now open the Hatch dialog box, browse to the file's location and load the new pattern. Use it. Done.

The pattern name and the filename must match.

1. Create an new text file containing your pattern definition as posted. Ensure the file has a blank line at the bottom.

2. Save it as PLYWOOD.PAT in a directory that's included on the Support File path list accessed from Tools>Options and make sure it hasn't been saved as PLYWOOD.PAT.TXT ... or add the directory to the pathlist.

3. Look for your pattern in the Custom tab within ACADLT's Hatch and Gradient dialog box.

Thank you both. I finally have it figured out, I was saving to the wrong support file but they are all working now.
