A Line weight below .3 doesn't show in PS

I wonder why line weights below .3 display as thin as the thinnest/lightest line. Is this a universal phenomenon or is it just on my monitor.

I guess that is .3 mm. Usually a line weight of 0.025 mm or less is displayed as one pixel width. Can't get smaller than a pixel. Maybe it has something to do with your screen resolution. The lower your resolution. the bigger your pixels are.
