    Hello,

I'm wondering if there's a way to warp straight planes to conform with curved edges, like in the figure below:

The easy way would be draw a circle then type arc and select 2 points on the circle and snap to a quadrant then rightmouse click the semicircle u just drew and click properties, then in thickness add a value.

    Is this what your after?
USING AUTOCAD 2013 AND INVENTOR 2013, ALIAS 2013.

If in doubt scale and don't ask!

    Well, not really.

What I'm working with is a rounded balcony. You can think of the circle as the balcony floor (even though it's not really a circle, but the outer edge is curved). The flat plane is the railing. It's not really a plane since it has some thickness and holes within it, but it is flat and it needs to be curved so that it follows the curve of the balcony floor.

just use OFFSET and trim/add your lines.

wait... are you in 3D or 2D?
