ReMark Posted April 22, 2014 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Well it does beg the question why one would want to move an object on a layer that is turned off but yes, it can be done using QSelect as one possible option. Note that although the viewport would initially be identified by its grips you couldn't use them to actually move the viewport because they disappear from your screen.
