dsibbo
Can anyone tell me how to have my alignment parameter in my dynamic blocks as the insertion point? At the moment I have an insertion point and alignment next to it. Thanks
Dana W
In the block editor, erase the current insertion point and place a new one where you wish. When applying the insertion point parameter in the block editor, simply place it on the point you wish to use as the insertion point. You can place it on top of any other parameter point you wish. They don't interfere. Note that changing the insertion point location will affect all the copies of that block that are already inserted in the drawing, if any. They will all re-align the same distance that exists between the previous insertion point, and the new one within the block. If the block is already in the drawing, you may have to re-align the existing block copies in modelspace.
