Hollow Splayed Triangle In 3d

The units will be laser cut in 1mm steel. They will then be powder coated so that rules out weld. They will have to riveted some way or screwed.

The triangles don't hand straight down the apex is up against the wall see picture. It is fitted to the wall with the spring and plastic ties. I hope this is clearer?

I offset from the baseline by 150 and where the 45 degree line cuts across I trimmed off. I then added the 20mm flange. That's how I worked out the splay length (manually) as I have no idea how you do that in 3d

I am sure there are easier ways but as I said Im only learning.

 

Note*

Its only 1mm thick steel. The flange is 20mm.
