FIFTHTEXAS Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 can anyone tell me best method of creating pipework and ductwork in solid colours at moment i have outline of pipework and ducts in different colours, supply and return etc i have it ok on plan view, but how do i do this on 3d view? tzframpton Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Hover over the pipe in any View, and keep cycling the Tab key until you see the dashed linework surrounding it. This is how you can select a System in the canvas, rather than go to the Project Browser > Families > Piping Systems. Click Edit Type and go into the Materials option. Create and name a material and apply any color of choice. Now change to either a Shaded or Consistent Visual Style and you're golden!! Easy as pie.
