DDClubley Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 I am running Inventor 11, I can get access to 2014 if it makes it easier. I have an enclosure type assembly, I want to be able to specify certain parameters when I open it, such as height, width, etc. I have created each part as an Ipart but I can only specify the parameters when I place them into the assembly. There will also need to be some basic formulas, for example the parameter for extrusion length will have to be the length of the base plate - 60 and the height of enclosure = extrusion length - plate thickness - 30. I also want all the parts to be exported to an excel sheet. I have attached the start of the assembly to show you what I mean. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
