Default Copy layers/dimstyles/text styles between drawings

    Hi,

Another adt2006 question (setting up templates at work and want to get it right!)

Is there a quicker way of transfering layers/dimstyles etc between drawings rather than using the content browser and dropping them in? Am currently making a set of templates for the office and know things will kick off as soon as they go live, so i want a quick way of spreading changes across the suite of drawings.

e.g. someone requests a new dim style which then has to be copied to all the template dwgs.

A kind of 'copy all dimstyles/layers/text style/linetypes to project dwgs.' command!

If this has not been done already, is it possible using lisp or would it just become so complex and convulted that it would be better doing it via content browser?

Oh it's definitely possible using LISP.... i wouldn't know how to help ya there because my LISP programming is minimal.

also, save everything as a block, and INSERT the block with everything already done. :-)

Using a block is a smart little fix for the time being - thanks!
