suryacad
Hi Guys. This is my first post on The forum. looking forward for many interesting discussions in the future. Here's the first one. I have a bunch of closed rectangles for which i can find area through Area command>add objects and calculate collective area. Is there a way i can get collective added perimeter for all closed rectangles?
Dadgad
Welcome to CADTutor. Check out this lisp by Lee Mac, it should save you a lot of time, as most of Lee's lisps do. http://www.lee-mac.com/totallengthandarea.html This is just one of a great many very generously made available, for free, by Lee on his awesome website. He has a few more specifically dealing with AREA issues which might also be of interest to you, creating fields or tables to display areas and or totals. Look for them on the General list of Programs. Thanks Lee!
