nialb
AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!! Who ever thought of that one? What? That madening line thicken on pre-selection! I can sort out the SELECTIONEFFECT variable and I can get rid of that ridiculous glowing effect in the PRESELETIONEFFECT variable but which madman wrote in the thicken effect so it can't be turned off!!! There must be a system variable hidden somewhere within AutoCAD 2015 that allows us to disable the thicken effect when pre-selecting. Does anyone know where it's hiding? Dana W
To completely get rid of The Glow when preselecting you can uncheck the boxes on your Options >> Selection tab for both When a command is active, and for When no command is Active. Selected items will still exibit The Glow after selection. OR, and this is a big OR, you can turn Hardware Acceleration off to get rid of The Glow after selection, then it will revert to dashed selection effect. PRESELECTIONEFFECT = 0 - Dashed and Thickened selected items. PRESELECTIONEFFECT = 1 - The Glow.
