kathy m
Hello, I often have drawings that are anywhere from 10-30 pages. When I plot/print I currently select a sheet, turn the appropriate layers on or off and plot. Then on to the next one which is obviously very time consuming. However, I don't want my lighting or electrical to show on plumbing, etc. Is there a way to set each tab to maintain specific parameters while printing? Thank you, Kathy
RobDraw
Yes, layers can be controlled per viewport. Turn all layers on and then activate viewport and freeze layers using the button or alternatively from the layer manager using the appropriate column. It is over to the right. Deactivate the viewport and repeat for the next one.
jarr3tt88
Just save a template file that has all the layers you want on/off in each viewport. Then you only have to do this once. Template files are good for having same cad standards job to job, same layers, styles, blocks, etc.
