AllenHouse
As it happens this is the only drawing that has elevations from Solidworks. It looks like you make have found it. Great Thank you. I do know that using wipeouts and backgrounds on dimensions can cause the regens to be slow but I have no alternative on this project as there is so much detail. the other file which is 30MB is just CAd work and no 3D imports which may explain a lot. Give yourself a well earned pat on the back matey. Thank you from the UK
AllenHouse
So where would you use the overkill command?
ReMark
I seldom if ever have the need to run Overkill on my own drawings. I do however run it on any drawing I download from CADTutor or via a file sharing facility. Why? Because I find that many users are unaware of the command and a vast majority of those never had any formal CAD training so they tend to make mistakes. BTW....this is in no way a reflection on you. Aside from the Solidworks content being brought over (not anyone's fault really) I think your drawings are very well done. I like the level of detail. AllenHouse
Well I know what you mean. I have to use Architects drawings all the time and they are very bad at the discipline. I myself am self taught bar a couple of years in a drawing office. Fortunately I am a little OCD (or CDO to put them in the right order) so I like things right. Thanks for your help ReMark. It is much appreciated, as for the detail, well i have to make sure that I can provide 1:2 construction details anywhere so I build them up from the panels all the way to the GA's
