addesigns
Back in the day AutoCAD command extend would let you extend to a line that it was perpendicular to but the line did NOT have to be directly in front of the edge that you picked. I've noticed in the last few years that option no longer exists. Why did AutoCAD ever change that? I used to love that option. Whom do I write to at Autodesk to make them change it back? Just so food for thought.
