bennyboy86
Hi all, we currently have gotten a new civil manager at my place of employment. when we issue drawings we do so like this: 1,2,3,etc for pre construction issues then a,b,c,etc for construction issues. from my experience been like this, we looked around seems 50/50 as the way i showed or swap it around so numbers for construction and letters for pre construction. new manager says he never seen it the way we do. so really just interested to see how others issue drawings.... thanks. Organic
I've not seen it done like that before. Keep it simple. Revision A, B, C, D, E, F, G.... etc If you ever get to the end of the alphabet then you are doing something seriously wrong. e.g. Rev A - Issued for review Rev B - Issued to Council for approval Rev C - Council amendments & reissued for approval Rev D - Issued for tender Rev E - Stormwater line 16 modified Rev F - Issued for construction Rev G - Additional setout info added Rev H - Work as executed survey

bennyboy86
yep what i thought, thats 4 ways for 4 people so pretty much what ever the company comes up with, well seeing its my drafting standard it stays the way it is....
