bjenk8100
This is real simple but it is bugging me. I added a sheet to a simple test project. The sheet was added by this procedure - File>New>Family>Titleblock (US imperial folder)>8.5x11" titleblock. So an unnamed sheet is created. I go to this sheet and right click to add a view. My level 1 floor plan is not shown. I cannot figure out why. I cant attach it for some reason. Any help would be great. Tnx!
tzframpton
Are you sure it's not on another sheet? Find the View on the Project Browser and try to drag/drop it on the sheet. It'll error if it's already placed on another sheet.
bjenk8100
geez thank you. I thought I was losing my mind. I was using revits construction template and they have a few sheets already set up. You cant put same view on more than one sheet?
tzframpton
You cant put same view on more than one sheet?Exactly. It would be contradictory for things like Sections, Elevations and other Reference Views. The only View you can reference on more than one sheet are Legend Views, since they serve a different purpose.
