I imported an IFC file and when orbiting around the final model using the X-Ray visual style everything runs smoothly. But if I attempt to go change to top view the system starts to "think", and when it finally gets to the top view it lags heavily when I pan or zoom. What I wonder is why it runs so smoothly during what I would consider to be the most performance intensive part (the orbiting), and then lags so heavily during the supposedly "simple" top view.
