    Default Modifying the appearance of rendered materials.

    When I render,the renders apear to be patchy,how do you modify the appearance of a rendered material?I understand that lighting can an effect,but ,most the time the rendered image just doesnt look that life like.

    In 2000i.

    1) Type RMAT (render materials) look in the lib for a material such as
    APE.

    2) Then 'add it' with the add button.

    3) Click OK

    4) Now select the ape material on the left hand list and click the MODIFY
    button

    5) Now tweak away. Make sure to reapply the material after it's modified.

    Transparency is cool and Reflection/Roughness is cool for reflections.

    make sure under render type its photoreal and then under the
    rendering options>more options, the anti alasing option is set to high.
