sriharshaachyutuni
I have a project in which i am assigned to do animation in 3D. The animation is little complex involving a to and fro 120degrees rotation of a shaft while it moves forward at the same time. It is a pilger mill shaft. I tried to do using script but i find it not possible. Please give me some ideas to do it.

JD Mather
How much experience with AutoCAD do you have? How much experience with AutoCAD Parameters (parametric constraints and dimensions) do you have. How much experience with blocks do you have? The process is not simple in AutoCAD - there is a paper here http://au.autodesk.com/au-online/classes-on-demand/class-catalog/2011/autocad/mechanical-simulation-in-autocad-2012 but really need an instructors help. I can post an AutoCAD example here (I have posted it in the past and will have to search and find the thread.) Of course, all of this is much easier in Autodesk Inventor.
