hiandy
Dear All, My name is Hiandy and I am using Autdesk Inventor Pro 2014 I have a problem with measurement unit. First, I created a part. Then, I used feature of 'thicken' to one surface. After that, I used feature 'make component' to make an assembly with 2 parts. Please see a file on attachment. My question: why the measurement units on part and assembly (mm) are different from the measurement unit on part (after assembly) which is inch? Please let me know, if you have questions. Would appreciate for your help. Thank you. Regards, HiandyUNIT DIFFERENT.pdf
phyro222
Are you using an assembly template in mm?
JD Mather
As indicated - when you Make Component you have to select the correct template. 1. It sounds like inch template is your Default - you can change the default. 2. You can always change the units of ANY file by going to Tools>Document Settings>Units
