Bogbadbob658
I want to be able to offset an element which is on a layer (not the current layer) but have it place the new offset element automatically on to the current layer. Is this possible?
CADgirl
After you start the offset command type L for Layer, then C for Current.

nestly
.... I suppose it always helps to read the command line prompts. Reading the Command Line is often regarded as the 1st rule of AutoCAD
