mknutsen
I am trying to create a BOM within a drawing master that when I close the drawing and re-open it will continue to add and subtract parts and other block items. My question is, Is there a setup manual for creating a bom from start to finish for Autocad Mechanical 2012. Mainly looking for if there are special settings and requirements before I even get started. I should say that I have been able to create the Bom im looking for in a single drawing but after i close the drawing I am not able to open it again and have it calculate the parts like it did before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

mknutsen
I must not have asked the right question, or maybe nobody has had this problem since there were no replys. I cant seem to find any manuals that describe the BOM process from start to finish. Any ideas or help would be great. Thanks
mknutsen
Does anyone even use the Bill of materials feature for Autocad Mechanical 2012?
