Dashed Construction lines or lines

I'm wondering how I would make dashed construction lines or dashed normal lines.

Do you want to make custom linetypes, or are you referring to the predefined linetypes that come with AutoCAD?

Load and use another linetype using the LTYPE command.

Or change the Linetype on a layer and be on that layer when you draw your lines.

If the lines don't appear dotted/dashed, fiddle with the LTSCALE setting.
