Secretagdan
I just upgraded to Auto CAD 2014 last week (from 2012) & I am having a strange issue. I am working with multiple loaded XREF files in a drawing. After editing the XREF-ed files, it asks to re-load as per normal, at which time I do so. However once in a while, while I am working on drawing layouts in paper space, I will get a notification that some of the XREFs file has been modified & needs to be re-loaded. While all of my drawings are located on a company server where all users have access, nobody else is working on the project with me & there is nobody else using the drawings. This makes me wonder what is going on here? Has anyone else experienced this?
RobDraw
Check the properties of those files to see when they were last modified to verify that they have not changed since you last edited them. It might have something to do with the cache pertaining to viewports. If a viewport hasn't regened since the last change to the XREF, AutoCAD might be thinking that the XREF has changed since the last regen and requires a reload. Although, I don't think I've seen that before.
