What were you attempting to do when the error happened?

Is the error repeatable and reproducible in the same drawing at the same point?

Is your version of AutoCAD 2012 current with all service packs?

Did you research the error message over at the AutoDesk website?

I'm just work on my drawing when this happen. The error is repeatable, not so frequent but still, it happen.

I'm not sure whether my Autocad come with all service packs or not. How do we check on this?

Thanks.

Working on your drawing doing what exactly? If it is repeatable then tell us what command you are using when the error occurs.

AutoCAD > Menu Bar > Help > About AutoCAD 2012 will tell you what version you are using and which service pack is installed. May look something like this...

I.106.0.0 AutoCAD 2012 SP1

Are you installing the correct 64 or 32bit version?

Are you installing as Administrator?

In my experience with AC it was always best to install fro the Administrator Account.

stevendrew: The OP is not doing an install of the program as he clearly states, in his original post, that the problem occurred while he was working in a drawing.
