Recommendations for rendering software?

Hey guys,

I'm sure this question must get asked a lot - just wondering if someone wouldn't mind recommending a good rendering program.

I am a structural/mechanical steel detailer, and I'm in the process of updating my folio. In the past I have exclusively using Navisworks (as it is all we have in the office - except AutoCAD itself). I have been able to get some pretty good results with Navisworks, but have just read that in NW2015 they have done away with the Presenter tool.

I have tested out Keyshot and while it looks like it can produce nice renderings on smaller models, it seems to struggle with some of our larger models (not sure if it is limitations of the software or my PC).

I have attached a few examples of my recent renderings (done with Navisworks).

Looking forward to hearing back.

---EDIT---

One thing I forgot to mention, I'm creating these renderings with the intention to print at A2 (300 dpi).

Those looks very nice; great job!

Until a knowledgeable one will come with a fitted answer, you may want to take a look on Showcase sub-Forum where people were posting examples from their work - usually there is also indicated the software used.

Thanks a lot MSasu, and thanks for the tip too. Perhaps I should have posted this thread over there.

Thanks again.
