KevinMcDonagh
I have a plan drawing with text that has a Z component. Its a survey of a vertical wall with levels one above the other in plan. I want to view it with the Z axis vertical and when I do the text is obviously show as a flat line from the side. Is there anyway I can get that text to also rotate in the Z plane so I can see the elevations without having to re-enter the values as normal text,
eldon
You could try the RotateToView lisp written by Gile and Lee Mac Edited August 5, 2014 by eldon spelling!!
KevinMcDonagh
Eldon your lead was brilliant and has saved my life. I have a huge Dam survey here (in the bush in Angola) with 7 spillways and the clients require the elevations to be shown on the vertical wall faces. All survey has been done with a laser total station and I have close to 2000 readings to display. This is pure magic. Much appreciated
