dear nestly for define line, These lines must be defined by the coordinates?(whether the z coordinate is zero)?? thanks

nestly isn't picking coordinates he is picking a point on the 3D model to draw his line. Then he rotates the line minus 30 degrees.

I was talking about the line that nestly drew from the top edge of the nut. He rotated it -30 degrees then revolved it to create a surface. This is the surface he used to trim away a portion of the nut to create the chamfer. Follow me?

You're putting the line on the corner of the nut. You need to put it on the face so the surface will cut through the corners. Put the line in the center of the faces edge.

You used wrong edge - you will need to observe geometry more carefully.

The line should be created at midpoint of Flat edge, not corner edge.

Maybe you should try the extruded circle technique instead?

Attach your dwg file here (before the Revolve) and someone will move the line to correct location for you.

please tell me about corrected drawing model.

... Units does not important.

Units are always important to me. I never let my students slide for a second in ignoring units.
