When I use DDEDIT in cad version 2006 ,I can select the middle part of text

at once pressing and dragging the mouse left button.

But cad version 2014 I have to click first at relevant point and next pressing and dragging.

 

I need to stop this additional click.

 

Instead of this we can press up down or end arrows.

If I can feed this key option using lisp code it fulfill my requirement.

Any ideas ?
