berol
Using AutoCAD 2000 and would like to move my cursor around to different positions on a drawing and know what world coordinate each position is. Can this be done using a grid or snap so the cursor will stay on that position so I can record it's coordinate. I will also try to use this to locate coordinates after changing my 0.0 location using the UCS command.
steven-g
Try the command "ID" I would imagine it is there in 2000, it gives results based on the UCS and outputs the values to the command line
BIGAL
Bit more you can copy and paste the co-ords from the command line to something else like excel or notepad. Acad 2000 supports lisp so you could do a simple GETPOINT and write the answer to a file.
