Just starting out in the Oil & Gas industry as a project draftsman/Graduate Engineer. The thing is I am tasked with setting up CAD standards for the relatively new company. They don't have any standards at all. I will need to set up the proper layers, scales, library of common rigging components found in the Oil & Gas industry. Secondly I will need to write a manual to describe all those above. This is for when the company expands and hires new project draftsman, the manual will be issued to them to follow the standards.
