Creating an annotation with a tag name

I am just trying to create an annotation that has a tag name, but just want the annotation to just be a frame, or a box. The size of the box would be driven by how many spaces I put in the annotation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't there an outline option for MText?

I dont know, that is what I am trying to find out?

I don't have access to CAD ATM. Look in the text category in Express Tools. I'm fairly certain there is something there with an option to use a circle or rectangle.

How about a dynamic block with an attribute and grips to make the block wider to fit your text? I'm not aware of a way to make the box update based on the number of characters that are entered. It won't be "automatic" but easy to use.
