That was the error message. When I googled I was asked to copy the cd to my harddisk i.e install form my harddisk and not from the cd itself. That I have not done yet, I want to be very sure

I hadn't made the suggestion previously but that's where I was headed as I had the same problem trying to install AutoCAD 2011.

Glad to hear you solved the problem on your own and thank you for updating us.

BTW...you might want to consider bumping up your RAM to at least 4GB. If you plan on doing any 3D work 8GB might be better. Just a suggestion.

Welcome to the CADTutor forum. :)

xforce keygenerator?

Where exactly did you get your software from? Is this a "cracked" version?

Your delayed response only leads me to believe that you have obtained an illegal copy of the program. CADTutor does not condone the use of illegal software. I will not assist you in finding/using a key generator.

Did you know there are free and low cost versions of CAD programs available?

If you are a student did you know AutoDesk makes available, for free, most of their programs to educators and students?

You should also check your hardware configuration. You can also try it to install it into another partition of your disk.

Both suggestions will do the OP no good as the software is illegal. The reference to XForce keygenerator is the tip off.
