Default Changing Text in a title block

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

I have been trying to change the text in a title block, Example; Design documents to Construction documents. When I select the text it also highlights the architects address, date, job no etc. I tried to explode the text but that just causes everything to revert back to promts. line 1 address, line 2 address and so on. How do I manipulate an individual line of text without messing up all the other information.

You may like a bit more information. The text you see in the totleblock is not an AutoCAD text object, it is a block attribute. That's why you must use the Attribute Edit command to change the text rather than the Text Edit command.

Thank CadTutor for the cause. I will have to remember to include the explanations for and not just the solution.

In CAD2K4 and 2K releases you can simply select,by double left clicking it and your title block and the enhanced attribute editor will pop up,from there all you do is change the attibutes and your done.

Or if you look back to version 14, now that was annoying.
