PLEASE HELP need to Assign a CTB file to a new 2015lt drawing

Hi,

I'm really stuck, have started a new drawing after upgrading from 2009 to 2015.

Have gone to plot and the CTB file is missing.

I can see it in the STYLESMANAGER but can't assign it to my drawings.

When I try to create a new CTB, it only seems to give me the option of an STB File, never seen this before.

Have gone into help and tried Options / plot publish / add plot style tables,

found the CTB file and double clicked, but when I go back to plot its not available.

Please can someone tell me what Im doing wrong.

I have clients coming in tomorrow and need to print?

You can see all the standard default plot styles AutoCAD ships with but you cannot select any of the CTB styles?

Your file somehow got converted to STB. I do not think it has anything to do with the upgrade to 2015. CONVERTPSTYLES will change it back.

First go into Options, Plot and Publish tab, lower right pick Plot Style Table Settings, pick Use color Dependent plot styles.

Then create your own template file that uses CTB and get that setup in Options, Files, Template so each new file will use your template file. There are lots of styles, etc you will want in your template file along with the CTB setting.

This worked....easy when you know how....thankyou for sharing your knowledge.

Once typing CONVERTPSTYLES - reopened the plot dialog box and all my ctb files where there and able to select.
