atexascad Posted September 24, 2014 Share Posted September 24, 2014 We currently run on 2007 Autocad LT (sad I know) and have a laptop with the latest Autocad. We used Trueview converter to save down files from laptop and now we cannot detach xrefs and all xrefs read as blocks in our files on 2007 Autocad LT. When we update an xref file; it does not update in other files which I'm assuming because it's a block in the original. Thanks in advance for your help!! RobDraw Posted September 24, 2014 Share Posted September 24, 2014 It's been a long time since I've used TrueView and I don't have it on this machine so my answer is a bit vague. Check the conversion options. I'm pretty sure there is a setting on how to handle the XREFs. Set it so that it does not bind the XREFs. I still can't figure out how why my image that is attached can't be detached. Atleast now my xrefs are updating in all my files. Thanks again!
