samifox
customizing acad 2010, About the Option dialog, 1. Files tab > Support File Path. There are few paths to C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2010\Support’s subdirectories, why there is a need to reference all those subdirectories? Could I just link to C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2010\Support ? 2. Files tab > Working File Path. Is read only section. Why we need it for? 3. In the Files tab > Support File Path there is link C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2010\R18.0\enu\support. Why there is a need for C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming and why C:\Users\user\AppData\Local? 4. Why the templates are located at C:\Users\user\AppData\LOCAL 5. In order to have valid CUI, is it OK to link only the CUIX.XML file? thanks for now Shay
BIGAL
Dont change the ones you dont need rather move any you add further up the list this way it finds yours first and stops looking, removing what you think it wont use will probably come back at you one day with "Can not find" We have repathed our cui but it points to CUIX. Our templates are repathed to our server.
