Akitirija Posted October 7, 2014 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Hi Just a quick question concerning cut extrude on circular surfaces: Is the cut extrude I have done in the attached file a "best practice" way of doing it (the sketch is way past the circumference of the circle, so I am trying to ask if this matters, or if there is some "prettier" way of doing the sketch). JD Mather Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) You do not need the 4mm dimensions - simply add Tangent relations between the sides and the circle. (Or in this case you could also use Coincident since you already have a construction line constrained to the circle.) I would have used a center point rectangle instead.
