The_SuperVixen
Hello all, I have started using Project Navigator and its pretty awesome. I've created a bunch of custom Fields for tracking Issue Date/Info for each sheet. The fields have all been set to "By Sheet" because we don't always issue all sheets, all of the time. Is there a way to edit the properties of multiple sheets at once? Editing 100 sheets one at a time is a bit cumbersome. It seems to me that there should be a way to access the information held within Project Navigator in order to manipulate it, does this exist? I have exported the data via a Sheet List Table, but its a little limited. TIA!
hertz hound
I don't know how to manipulate anything with auto lisp and barely get by with VBScript, but could you use an x refed title title block so you only have to change the information in one drawing and that would reflect the updates in all the sheets. Or perhaps a separate Xref for the different sheet disciplines. One for 100's one for 200's etc. I think you can right click on a drawing in PN when you have a sheet drawing open and choose add as overlay or attach. You would have to go through all your sheet drawings to do this at this point, but if things are still changing you would only have to make the new revision notes in one drawing in the future. The_SuperVixen
Unfortunately xrefs will not work, as each sheet is unique and has different numbers of issues/dates. I only want to show the issue/dates that pertain to a sheet. Not each issue/date of the entire job. For example, I don't want our Electrical set to display the Filing Issues that only pertain to the Mechanical and Plumbing Sets.
