mrjagsr744
I created a command in the CUI (2014) with a macro that has the following ucsicon;or;ucs;3;_dimlinear; and I don't understand why when I run the command, it never runs the "dimlinear" portion of the command. What am I doing wrong?
BIGAL
UCSICON OR expects a pt try UCSICON;or;pause;UCS or UCSICON;OR;('(0 0 0));UCS
mrjagsr744
Thanks for your answer but the Macro works fine all the way up to the completion of the "UCS 3 point" and then it stops. What is preventing it from continuing to the "Dimlinear" command? I tried the Macro one line at a time and every single line works, except when they are together. Any other ideas? YZ
I don't understand the part UCS;3 When I try that part, it seems AutoCAD is then asking for a new origin point. What does your command line say when you run this macro?
mrjagsr744
What was happening was that the macro would do the following: 1. it would set the ucsicon to ON 2. it would set the UCS using 3 points 3. at this point it would stop without continuing to the dimlinear command. I posted this problem in the Autodesk forums and I got an answer, the macro should say ^C^C_.ucsicon _or _.ucs _3 \\\_.dimlinear We do a lot of dimensioning 3D piping fabrications and wanted to simplify the process of locating the UCS on the right plane for the dimension to appear and this macro now works.
