Hi,

i'm new here - kinda weird talking to a space....

I've recently upgraded from 2009 to 2013 and all the settings are on default...

(plus i'm swithing from Classic to Ribbon layout... whoohooo

.when i'm drawing in 3D,- solids and lines, i cannot draw or dimension those objects in the front elevation,

it seems to read my lines or dimensions only in one plane -namely top view.

Not sure if this is a UCS issue or not?

PleAse help me to fix it !

Thanks

Hi,

Not sure if this is a UCS issue or not?

It is. I suspect you're using the Viewcube to change to front view, but that only changes the view, it does not change the drawing plane. Instead, use the In canvas view controls in the upper left to switch to "Front" and/or the Ribbon.

It works!! yes!! THANK YOU

so happy i don't have to use the cube for drawing anymore i did find it a bit frustrating! but i suppose i'll get used to it, along with the ribbon.

This is fantastic!
